Huvitz HDS-5800RZ Digital Microscope
The world’s first digital microscope to tout a 50x to 5,800x magnification range with a zoom lens
Huvitz has just dropped the gloves... With this zoom lens, a wide variety of inspection functions become easy tasks. Whenever the need arises for structural inspection and metallurgical evaluation, the addition of the revolving turret with four high resolution objective lenses extends this instrument's capability beyond what is currently available in the market. A wide variety of applications can be easily met: the single low/high magnification zoom lens allows workers in the semiconductor, automotive, chemical, materials, electro-transfer and medical industries to perform quick observation and inspection of their samples.
Main Features
1. High Speed Digital Camera
The Huvitz HDS systems utilize a high speed camera that runs on a 1/1.8 inch (8.50mm x 6.80mm) SONY ICX274AL sensor that generates up to 20 frames per second. This rapid frame display speeds image data collection. Combined with immediate image processing, this camera contributes to the efficient completion of inspection projects, such as:
High Dynamic Range (HDR) Extended Depth of Focus (EDF) Live Automatic Tiling
2. Quick & Easy Measurement Tools and Procedures
The Huvitz HDS systems allow users to complete all measurements directly on the screen in real time on a live image. The process requires only a couple of mouse clicks, and is significantly easier and faster than having to capture an image prior to measuring. The software provides a variety of 2D measurement tools such as line, circle, arc, angle, polyline, polygon, vertical, width, parallel, and count. 3D measurements (including volume, area, capacity, cross-sections, right angles, variable angles, and length/distance) are standard features of the HDS-5800RZ.
3. Motorized Stage and Z-Axis
The HDS-MS4 Motorized Stage provides observers with various features designed to meet
various needs based on their sample types. Its finely-tuned motors deliver a ± 50MM stroke
at a 0.1µ resolution that is accurate to within ± 15µ. Both the X and Y-axes can travel up to
100MM (4" x 4"). In addition to the motorized stage, the motorized Z-axis moves at a ± 30MM
stroke at a 0.1µ resolution and 1µ repeatability. The motorized features allow for easy auto tiling-
providing a complete image of a sample that is too big to fit in the field of view - and EDF image
construction.
4. Bright LED Illumination
The Huvitz HDS systems' LED illumination has been designed to optimize the realistic
high resolution image through realistic color rendering. It provides a reflected illumination
source in both brightfield and darkfield, as well as a powerful transmitted illuminator for
transparent/translucent samples. The LEDs quickly respond to the user's changes of the
light intensity.
